Iiwari renewed its website with Lovable – Sales Communications helped build a model that works

Iiwari wanted to renew its website to better reflect its current business: to state clearly what the company does, who its solutions are for and how an interested customer can move the conversation forward.

The goal was not just a new website, but also a new way of developing it. Lovable was chosen as the solution. Sales Communications built the starting point for the project, helped with scoping and coached Iiwari to continue the development work independently.

The result is a website whose content, structure and functionality Iiwari can flexibly develop on its own.

The old website no longer reflected the current business

Iiwari's previous website contained a lot of content accumulated over the years that no longer described the company's current focus well enough.

The renewal set out to clarify three things in particular: what Iiwari does now, how its solutions help customers, and what the natural next step on the website is.

At the same time, Iiwari wanted to move away from a model where developing the website constantly requires separate development projects. Updating content, testing new ideas and developing the structure had to happen quickly.

Why Lovable?

Lovable offered Iiwari a combination of speed, flexibility and control. AI could be used as a genuine part of the work, and developing the website did not require a constant hand-off between design, content and technical implementation.

It was also important to Iiwari that development could be done in-house without actual coding skills – while expert help was available when needed.

Sales Communications built a foundation that was easy for Iiwari to build on

Sales Communications was responsible for the project's groundwork, scoping and building the context. The aim was to create the best possible starting point from which Iiwari could continue the work on its own.

In addition to the technical foundation, hands-on coaching was essential. During the project, Iiwari received sparring and support whenever it was needed.

“It was really easy for me to carry on from there, because the groundwork had been done.”— Kaarina Päivinen, Head of Marketing, Iiwari

Development stayed in Iiwari's own hands

One of the biggest benefits of the new way of working was the speed of development. Content, structure and implementation could move forward without every change going through several different people.

When an idea came up, it could also be tried out quickly in practice. During the project, the structure could be changed without heavy rework, and new functionality and integrations could be built as needs became clearer.

Developing the website thus became continuous work instead of a one-off project.

More control.

Iiwari can update and expand the website without constant dependence on an outside vendor.

A website is no longer a one-off project

The iiwari.com project showed that renewing a website is also an opportunity to change the way the website is developed.

When the starting point is built carefully and the customer has expert support available when needed, even a non-technical user can take development a long way on their own.

Iiwari gained not only a new website but also a new operating model for developing it continuously.
